Bidding sucks! CORS system sucks! Last minute notification of allocation sucks! Why can't people just think before they bid? Haven't they heard of proper bidding tactics? Why can't people learn to inform early? To add on further, the internet connection is so SLOW because of the sickening earthquake in Taiwan. I almost thought I was using modem dial-up. Annoying!!!

FFX-2

Ok. I really have to stop buying so many things on one shopping trip. I spent close to a hundred bucks yesterday in Bugis. Although the feeling of satisfaction was present initially, it was tough to forget the fact that my wallet was getting lighter.
I've decided. I'm going to find an activity that I like and can enable me to stay at home without feeling bored. And so, I ended up playing FFX-2.
In the beginning, I was going through all the PS2 games and deciding on what to play. Kingdom Hearts 2 was out, since I didn't like the battle system and the characters are not beautiful enough. I was comparing FFX, FFX-2 and FFXII. The cover of FFXII was not appealing enough, so it was booted out. Although Tidus looked good, FFX seemed way too out-dated and it hence received a cross on my list. Finally, FFX-2 remains victorious. HAHAHA... Women rule that game...
However, it feels weird to have a female as the lead character in a FF game. I was hoping for new characters to appear, rather that the same 3 female characters (Yuna, Rikku and Paine). Right now, I.m still controlling the same people in the game. Will there be new characters? Can u just please hurry up and appear?

Back to Vivo

I went to Vivo City with Xue Xin and Li Jun yesterday. This is my second time there and I'm still very much mesmerized by the scenery at the rooftop. It feels lovely to have the pleasure of enjoying the cool wind and the breath-taking sight of the transformation from evening to night. Looking across from Vivo at the brightly lit and colourfully-decorated Sentosa, PSA and the cable cars is definitely an experience. The only drawback is the crowd. Too many people and too many cameras... It's difficult not to see a glimpse of flash in a while as people are more busy taking photos than just taking pleasure in the panorama.
It's a satisfied shopping trip in Vivo. I bought some items and spent more than I ever have since the beginning of school. I guess the school term is a period for me to save and holidays become the time to shop and spent. Holidays holidays holidays...

Driving is an experience

Exams are over!!! Yes! I can finally slack my time away without any feeling of guilt.
It's time to learn driving! I managed to book 3 lessons per week for the month of December. The driving instructor said that 3 lessons per week are very tedious. Actually, I don't mind so long as I can complete half of the module before the upcoming semester. I certainly cannot imagine rushing for driving lessons after a full day of lectures and tutorials.
Driving lessons are so fun! I'm only a beginner, so I just learnt how to turn at straight lanes and sharp bends. At times when I panic, I turn the steering wheel so fast and vigorous that the instructor almost thought we were at the arcade playing racing cars. Haha! Poor guy... Just his luck for having me as a student. Tomorrow is my third lesson and I'll be driving around Punggol area. I'm quite excited since this will be my first time driving out of the circuit and on the roads. I sincerely hope I don't cause any collisions.
