How my weekend is spent

This is what you get when one couldn't attempt the first 9 questions in Probability tutorial...
And when one finally manages to do Qn 10....
Yup, this is what I have completed by using the whole of Sunday... only 1 question over a total of 12 questions...

Life is full of ups and downs

Mid-term tests were over and I believed that I had failed every single test, with the exception of 1 module. No kidding, I've taken a look at the answers of the test and compared to mine. The conclusion was not promising...
Just today, I got back my mid-term test for Organic Chemistry. Failed... Though the score wasn't as bad as the previous semester (which I seriously wondered how I even managed to obtain a grade in the range of B then). I admitted defeat for Organic Chemistry. I can never seem to have enough memory space in my mind for the storage of all of the mechanisms, reactions, possible trajectories and structures of resonance.
Physical Chemistry... Failed... Sigh, somehow it just doesn’t hurt that much anymore.
I'm waiting for the final 2 stabs from Probability and Analytical Chemistry.

My friend and I signed up for an interview for an Australian Summer Programme in UNSW organised by Faculty of Science. She was interested in the programme, but was afraid of going alone and asked if I wanted to join her. I did and we had to go for a group interview with the Assistant Dean of IRO (International Relations Office) from Science. There were 5 of us being interviewed and the Assistant Dean was sitting in the middle of a long table with 2 other females. This reminds me of the variety shows in America, where there is always a panel of 3 judges deciding on your fate.
1st question was expected, but I was still hesitant.
"Why do you want to go?" I stumbled over this, and could only manage a reasonable answer but it definitely sounded incredibly insincere. This was supposed to be the easiest question, but I just wasn't able to convince myself that I had a strong DESIRE to go. (I was more excited to fly to Germany earlier this year.)
2nd question was, "If an Australian comes up to you to know more about NUS, what would you say?" I thought this was a much better question than the 1st one.
3rd question: "What is UNSW known for?" Oh man, I almost thought I was a goner. Haha... Had to crap out an answer that only God knows whether it is true or not.
I came out of the room, thinking that I hardly stand a chance since only 35 students are selected from over 120 applicants.
Ironically, I was offered the opportunity.
Hmmm… I could only guess that my answers for questions 2 and 3 did help to salvage me.
