A Little Disappointment
Saturday, March 05, 2005
I initially thought that today will be a good day. After all, I'm going to watch "Adolf Hitler", which I'm really excited about it. I left my ticket with one of my friends, which turns out to be a wrong decision made. She realised she forgot only after we met up in the MRT Station. Sadly, she couldnt make it back in time and there was no break interval for the play. Feeling dejected, I didnt stay on to watch the telecast of the play on the TV screen outside the studio. I went home instead to nurse a 'broken' heart. $17 just went down the drain... Sob Sob...
I told my dad about it and he still can say,
"See lah... See what happens when u leave it with your friend. See if next time u still dare to do it or not. "
(Dont understand why he likes the word 'see' so much, but never mind about that.)
Anyway, I spent the rest of the day taking a nap at home and woke up feeling refreshed. A sleep is really the cure to any disappointment. Oh well, I will just take this as a lesson learnt. It's just a play, no use brooding over it any longer. It will be all forgotten once a fresh new day starts.
Oh, I just realise it is already a new day. Time now is 12.06am. Alright, no more hard feelings... Erm, well maybe just a little... Nonetheless, I feel so much better now. Time to get charged up and study for Monday's Chemistry test!!!!
