The one left behind...
Wednesday, June 28, 2006
My eldest brother is still in South Korea and my second brother is leaving for the States in a week's time to carry out one year of internship at California. Sigh, that will mean I will be soon left all alone at home for the month of July. Feels odd, to come back to a house that has nobody around until night falls when my father returns from work. It makes me feel like an only child.
No one to fight, argue, ignore, act dumb and silly to.
No free chauffeur when I am in no mood to walk out.
No one to accompany me to eat roti prata at the stall near my house.
No one to do errands on my behalf.
And the story goes on for a year, before I have someone to do the above.
Again, I have to say: The life of an "only child in the abode" can really be dreary.

19 days left... to Freedom Day... And no, I'm not going to work for an extra month. No matter how much good words you put in, I'm no longer taken in by your honey lies. You can pay your extols to another fool instead. 30 June is the DAY!
