Floppy month

Nothing much to update this month, except that I'm happier and more contented than I have ever been this year. I just registered for my Final Theory Test(FTT), which will be held on 28 August. I plan to take up practical lessons only after I pass my FTT. Learning to drive these days sure is expensive. Registration itself cost $152.25, inclusive of handbooks for the theory tests and 1 tutorial session. 1 pratical session will cost around $50 - $70, depending on if the session is considered an off-peak lesson. Daddy was complaining of how expensive it is as he took out his UOB card to pay. He grumbled that during his time, he only forked out $180 to obtain a license. Now, it costs 10 times the amount to obtain the same license. I didn't feel any pain through. The money wasn't taken from my wallet. Haha.
Ok, there is a pinch of guilt.
I realised my expenses have soared ever since I became jobless. I guess I'm so free that I just can't stop shopping and buying clothes. I bought mostly tops... I plan to buy bottoms as well. Sigh, I admit I'm definitely a compulsive shopper. Another one of the philosophy: old habits die hard.
I'm trying to pack my clothes and it is definitely a tedious chore. However, it is something I have to do. I need to pack my clothes and bring some over to my aunt's place. I will be staying with them for a few days when Daddy goes to China next month. Can you believe it? He will be going to China for 23 days, without me! Argh!!! Hey, I need a holiday as well!
Hey DaGe, you're not going back next month right? I read from your blog that you're going to Hong Kong for holiday. One word: unfair! Oh, I completed Heroes V of Might and Magic. It's quite fun and graphics are certainly better. I didn't like the ending through.
One last thing I have to let out: These few weeks have been very warm! The weather is so hot that my favourite spot in the house is to sit under the fan in the living room. A million of thanks to the brilliant person who invented the fan!
