Sadly, SOW has come to an end...

SOW was over yesterday. I was quite upset that we lost the Chancellor's Shield. I could see the disappointment in the faces of the seniors and the SOW committee. I felt that we seemed to have let them down. Sigh...
I really enjoyed myself during the last few days of SOW. The sing-along session was exceptionally satisfying. Everyone was so 'high' and we just kept dancing and singing as if in ecstasy. For the first time, I felt that we bonded as an og and most importantly, we bonded as students of Science Faculty.
SURPRISE! SURPRISE! Sinbad (name of my orientation group) was nominated for "Best Creative Cheer" and "Loudest Cheer". After some antagonizing moments filled with deafening cheers and drum rolls, we managed to clinch the title for "Best Creative Cheer"! YEAH!
The best house went to 'Offshore Islands'. Guess what? Sinbad is part of Offshore, which means WE WON! YEAH!! YEAH!! We beat those in red!!! It was so pleasurable since I didn't like the red team at all! YEEPIE!!!
Before going home, our AOGL said, "I have bad news... School is starting on Monday." I could only roll my eyes. Duh! Of course, I knew that! Haha, but thanks for the information!
I had a lot of fun during SOW. A big thanks to the seniors who never failed to be so enthusiastic and vibrant throughout the whole programme! A bigger thanks to the SOW committee for their hard work in planning and executing the activities in an efficient manner! Last of all, many thanks to everyone (especially the seniors) in my og. Thanks for celebrating my birthday!! The cake was delicious!
