Anticipation for next week

Yeah!!! I'm so looking forward to the upcoming recess week! This is the first time that I don't have to worry about any upcoming tests in the immediate week after the recess period. Never mind the fact that I still have projects and tons of revision to catch up on, it just feels great to have a 'test-free' break.

As a reward for our hardwork during the first half of the semester, my friends and I decided to go for buffet lunch at a chinese restaurant and kbox right after lunch. We sang for 4 hours and basically just let loose in the room. Luckily, we were allocated the room in a corner, so people passing by couldn't really hear us 'screaming' as we sang along to the chorus. When the bill came, it was a bit of heartache. Nevertheless, it was a fun way to 'de-stress'!

Went to an elephant camp and the performance put up was really spectacular! The elephants possess many talents like painting, playing soccer and even dancing. The show was just awesome, it was definitely the highlight of the whole trip.

One stop was the orchid farm. Feels weird to be roaming around a orchird farm in Chiangmai when Singapore also has a well-known and prominent orchid farm.

A couple of places to mention are certainly the 'silver-plated' and 'gold-plated' Buddhist temples. Very stunning indeed, especially the first temple as shown above. It was so glittery and shiny~~~ It was a pity that I couldn't spend more time exploring the temples since we were only allowed 15 minutes at each temple due to time constrain. This is one disadvantage of signing up on a tour. Everything is just so rushed...
