Where did all the free time go?
Saturday, December 20, 2008
This week is just crazy… And a crazy week also means less sleep… I miss the past 1½ weeks when I can just sleep for straight 10 hours. Arhhh… Feels good, though I would often become lethargic after such a long deep sleep… Nevertheless, definitely enjoyed those days which are pimple-free!
Most of the briefings are finally over! Just 1 more left and the last one is always the most dreaded one of all. Anyway, the next few weeks will include lots of buying and packing. Just when I thought I have more free time to start coming up with a decent packing list, my dad told me that he has bought me a new wardrobe and he’s going to move the second refrigerator out of the house and to my aunt’s place since it’s simply consuming too much electricity. He chose to buy me a new and bigger wardrobe one month before I leave Singapore… Well done… Now, not only do I have to clear all the stuff and clean up the refrigerator, I also have to clear my clothes from the existing wardrobe…
That packing list is still on hold… and I presume it’ll still be after 1 week… No, probably after 2 weeks…

Yeah! Holiday's here!!! Lots of things to be completed on my agenda:
1) Clear my notes that are lying in almost every corner of the house.
2) Pack unwanted clothes into bags (for donation or to be used as rags by my dad)
3) Go to NUS to borrow books on “Dentrimers” (very sluggish about this)
4) Source for places to buy winter clothes (><)
The shopping trip in Orchard was fruitful (meaning I spend a bomb again!). One of the things I bought is a white sweater from Mango. (^^) The knitwear just caught my attention immediately cos’ it looks so elegant and it feels really comfortable while wearing it!
My biggest headache for winter wear is the coat. I don’t wish to buy coats from Winter World as they are very ‘spongy’ and just lacks the fashion sense. Haha. Zara was one of the places that had a winter collection, though the collection is pretty limited.
I had a great time trying out winter coats in Zara with friends, and OMG there are a few coats in Zara that are simply gorgeous (so is the price…)! I had absolutely no problem with the design! Totally blown away… Decided then that the winter coat in Zara is definitely a must-get… However, I didn’t make any purchase there… Thought it’ll would be better to source around for other alternatives as well. I mean, $90 for a winter scarf… My dad will scream at me…
And OMG, I can’t wait to try on the earmuffs!!! I always find them to be freaking adorable!
