Batch Initiation Dinner (aka Free Dinner provided by senior batch)

14 February 2009! Batch Initiation Dinner! Batch 7 invites Batch 8 (my batch) for a get-together session on that day. The initiation started off with a cold blast - meaning we were given this 'wonderfully- drawn' map that led us to the forest behind Lappis. It was chilling cold! Chilling wasn't even sufficient to describe how vicious it was... But anyway, it was worth it! Just look at the view below!!! No colour adjustments made!

Nice photo of the depiction of family ties
Jia Yuan (senior) spitting wine into the fire to get it more hyped up!
Meanwhile, some of us in batch 8 just wandered off somewhere else. We're stepping on a frozen lake! How cool is that! Being extremely cautious not to step on any fragile ice so that we won't fall in...
Had bon-fire games and one of them is to transfer a 'hard bread' via mouth only!

Finally after more than an hour out enduring the freezing weather, we move indoors. It's dinner time!!!

After dinner, it was back to the games. We payed a game called 'Ouch, OBOB' and the game protocol was to basically hit someone either on your left or right, and the person who's being hit had to pinch someone besides him/her. Till the person who is being pinched has shouted 'Ouch!', you cannot stop hitting the person. Can understand? Haha.
Don't get it!?! Look at the pictures:

Poor Melvin... He's really in pain! Haha.
And Sze Khing... Another one in pain!

Me! After a night of chills, weariness, fun and happiness...
Thank you so much seniors!!! The food is nothing but great! It'll be our turn soon to prepare for the next batch - batch 9...
