Cruise to Helsinki, Finland (13 Mar - 15 Mar)

Some of us took an overnight cruise to Helsinki (capital of Finland) for a short 1-day visit. The trip was very enjoyable and it has been a good weekend vacation!

Finally, the cruise ship docked at Helsinki port!!! We have 8 hours to go around the city before taking another overnight voyage back.

We had buffet lunch at this 'Changjiang' Restaurant! It's a good 10 Euros spent on home cooked Asian gourmet... Yum yum!

We took a ferry to one of the islands: Suomenlinna (Sea Fortress). Me posing in front of our cruise ship as the ferry was passing by.

The guys had a snow fight while exploring the island! That's me trying to dodge a snow ball. Missed! Too bad!!!

Reached the peak of the island! Very scenic views!!! It's certainly worth the trip there!

Time flew faster than we had expected. It was soon time to be back on board the cruise. Took some photos at the deck as the ship was docking from the harbour.

Couldn't help but stare at the charm of sunset taking place right before my eyes...

I had no idea how to express the description of the panorama unfolding before me as I stood at the deck (chilling chilling CHILLING~~~). I guess I wouldn't be able to erase the sights from my mind. They were simply too breathtaking... I almost thought that I was on a boat sailing from Antarctica... Spectacular... Of course, I will also recall the freezing sensation that we had to endure whilst on the deck. Lol!
