On our way to the beach!!! Sun, sea, clear sky... I'm coming!!!

Still on the way... It was supposed to be only 10 mins' walk from our hostel... I'm sure the guy is being 'modest' about it being only 10 minutes...

Yeah! We've reached!!! Bought bikinis along the way. It's fairly expensive, but what's going to the beach without appropriate beachwear??? Especially to one where the females regard their tops as totally unnecessary... Seriously... I saw so many topless bikini babes (and old ladies)... Saw firm as well as sagging boobs... Siao liao...

Beautiful beach with an amazing sight of the whole stretch of the Mediterranean coast ... The magnificent coastline really took my breath away... We spent the whole afternoon swimming, sun-tanning and back to playing in the sea... What a great way to unwind!

The Nice leg of the Tour de France happened to be on the first day that we were in the city. Whoa, aren't we lucky!?! Lots of vehicles with the logos of the major sponsors were passing us by. There were plenty of complimentary gifts (caps, key chains, magnets, pins etc) thrown out to spectators and there were adults competing with children to grab these gifts. People even brought bags to contain their prized collections of such advertising items!

Finally, after nearly 2 hours of passing advertising vehicles, we had a few seconds' glimpse of the participants. They zoomed past us like bullet trains... Hehehe... Thankfully, the snap of the camera was rather fast.

Taking a walk along the coastline in the evening. There was a quick shower earlier and as anticipated, a rainbow appeared! Really pretty!

The colour was just so suitable! It wasn't due to any effects... It was exactly as what we had saw... Just stunning...

The day was drawing to an end, but the satisfaction for the first day in Nice had definitely been filled!

Lunch for the 2nd day: 33 pieces of Hot Wings, 3 packets of fries and 4 cups of soft drinks! Power Pack! Preparation for our scuba diving experience later in the day!

Even ZZ cannot help but drool at such extravagance...

Standing right outside the centre for scuba diving... We signed up for a quick scuba diving experience for first-timers. It was supposed to be just an exploration into the fun and enjoyment of diving 1- 2 feet in open waters!

Our diving suits and equipment were all right besides us. Woohoo! What an exciting moment for us!

Nice is, without a doubt, one of the most beautiful places that I'd been to. The impressive view of the coastline and sunny weather had been more than charming!!! It's definitely THE place to go if you just want to relax and enjoy a day out in the beach! Not many tourist attractions, but that's all right! The only drawback is perhaps that the beach is one filled with sand... It was quite painful to be stepping on pebbles while making our way down to the open sea barefooted. Nevertheless, I'll forget the wonderful impressive that this city has left me and the memories of my first time wearing both bikini and a diving suit (Sidetrack: the suit was really difficult to wear... Fits to your body like a second layer of skin) as well my first attempt at scuba diving... Scuba diving is certainly not easy. Haha, I almost drowned! Ohh, that was also my first time! Cool, so many first-times!!!
Next 2 stops in our France adventure: Marseille and Arles!
